• Step 1: Design Creation.聽The designs for the snap fastenings and watch clasps were created using CAD software.
• Step 2: Wax Patterns Printing.聽The designs were then 3D printed in wax to create precise patterns.
• Step 3: Mold Preparation.聽The wax patterns were encased in a ceramic mold material and allowed to harden.
• Step 4: Wax Removal.聽The molds were heated to melt and remove the wax, leaving a cavity in the shape of the original design.
• Step 5: Brass Casting.聽Molten brass was poured into the ceramic molds and allowed to cool and solidify.
• Step 6: Mold Breaking.聽The ceramic molds were broken away to reveal the brass castings.
• Step 7: Surface Cleaning.聽The brass castings were cleaned to remove any residual ceramic material and impurities.
• Step 8: Polishing.聽The brass pieces were polished to achieve a smooth surface.
• Step 9: Electroplating Preparation.聽The polished brass samples were cleaned and prepared for electroplating.
