Here are 3D printed Somos Taurus resin sample parts made with SLA technology. This material has a medium grey color and polishing marks by sandpaper are obvious. It has fine details, strength, durability, and heat resistance up to 90鈩.
Solution
- Step 1: Examine the 3D models to make sure the minimum detail is large enough, arrange the placement on the platform, and add supporting structures.
- Step 2: 3D print the parts with the material SLA Dark Tough Resin. The dark grey-colored SLA resin has features including fine details, strength, durability and heat resistance up to 90鈩.
- Step 3: When printing is finished, remove the supports and rinse it with IPA, then manually sand and polish it with 400-1500 grit sandpaper.
- Step 4: Check the prints and test if the caps could fit with the boxes.
