Grinding and tamping can be messy business, and this 3D-printed PLA dosing funnel is specifically designed to help eliminate the overflow of coffee grinds while dosing into your portafilter.

Solution

• Step 1: There are many 3D models of dosing funnels that could perfectly sit on the rim of different coffee machines' portafilters. Just download one that is suitable for yours.
• Step 2: Adjust the position of the 3D model to reduce using of supports. Here we print the part with FDM Flashforge PLA.
• Step 3: Take the print from the plane. Adding a raft or skirt would make this process easier.
• Step 4: Polish the print manually with a grater and sandpaper to remove the remaining marks.
