About Project

Some shoe lovers buy one and wear one, but it's not what 3D printing practitioners would do. They'd like to scan the new pair of sneakers and turn it into a digital collection. No need to worry that heat and humidity would ever ruin your collections!

Solution

• Step 1: Scan the shoes with a handheld high-precision 3D scanner. Process the model and mend the broken meshes.
• Step 2: Arrange the parts in the software and add necessary supports, especially the hollow. Then 3D print them with SLA Generic Resin. The layer thickness we set is 0.05mm and we control the tolerance within 卤0.1 mm.
• Step 3: When printing is completed, rinse the models with IPA and post-cure them with UV. Cut off all the supports and marks with scissors and graters, then polish with sandpaper.
